John 4:7-10, There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water:Jesus saith unto her, "Give me to drink" Then saith the woman of Samaria to him, How is it that thou, being a Jew,askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her," If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me drink; thou wouldest have asked of him,and he would have given thee living water."
Mathew 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Our Lord in a quiet time of evening prayer by the sea of Galilee.
John 19:29-30, They put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had received the wine, he said, "It is finished;" and he bowed his head and handed over the spirit.
Psalm 23, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: and leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil: my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
